For our thesis work from Tampere University of Applied Sciences Kiira, Tuuli and myself developed the concept design of Cherry Pies. Originally intended as a animated series, we have currently been branching the project to additional directions and both a graphic novel and an adventure game are being planned. An animated teaser is also in the works...

2008 | Krzysztof's Darwin Award

Made for animation class, this short animation tells the story of two macho men who compete against each other in proving their manliness... with deadly results. Based on a true story! It may or may not be completed one day...

Originally the masks for the bad guys of this music video were planned to be made in latex, but due to budget constraints they were slightly downgraded and ended up just being printed ones.

This was an interesting project, too bad I really didn't have the time to work on it.

Too bad I don't have a proper version of the intro credits, the rust effect was pretty neat when animated..

2008 | Juju - Oodi

I was asked to do some humorous stuff for this video, and use the colours red, yellow and green. Well there already was plenty of yellow going on when I got this one (after the colour grading) so I tried to add the rest.

This shot definetely lacks power without boosting the gunshot a bit.

2009 | The Electrician

There were talks about an animated intro sequence for this short film and I was looking forward to making that, but the director changed her mind a few times. The glitchy effects were pretty interesting stuff to study.

The typeface definetely wasn't my choice, but I tried making the best of it. The flames were filmed and thus, real.

2008 | Piracy infomercial competition

Looking at this one now, perhaps it is a bit crudely executed - even if you consider we only had two weeks to get it finished, and I hadn't done almost anything with After Effects before. This one isn't here really to show the best results I can produce with after effects, however I think it does tell something about what can be learned in a short time. And atleast we did finish second in the competition!
